Everything you need to know before your first session: what to tell me in advance, how to prepare on the day, how cancellations work, and why I ask you to keep the experience to yourself for a while afterwards.
Health and medical considerations
If you have a serious illness, or you are undergoing medical treatment of any kind — antidepressants, chemotherapy, anything else — please tell me in advance. Nothing about this rules a session out. It simply means I adapt what we do, and how much we do.
These sessions are complementary to medical, psychological and psychiatric care. They are not a replacement for it, and I will never present them as one.
This matters most when the work goes well. If you feel better after a session, that is not a reason to change anything about your treatment. Never stop a medical treatment without your doctor’s approval.
The day of your session
None of this is complicated, and none of it requires you to believe anything. It just makes the work easier for your body.
- Drink plenty of water, before and after.
- No alcohol, drugs or cannabis in the twenty-four hours before.
- Avoid coffee and cigarettes on the day itself.
- No perfume, please.
- Wear comfortable clothing you can lie down in.
- If you have a cold or a fever, reschedule. Your system has a job already; let it finish that one first.
If you can, avoid a heavy meal beforehand. Come with an open heart. No particular belief is required — only a willingness to notice what you feel.
Timing and cancellations
Please arrive exactly on time. Not early, not late. There is no waiting room, and a late arrival cannot push the end of the session back, because the time that follows belongs to someone else.
Cancellations need at least twenty-four hours’ notice. Later than that, the session is non-refundable. If something serious happens, tell me — I am a person, not a policy.
Confidentiality, and what is yours to carry
Every session is strictly confidential. What is said in the room stays in the room.
My role is to transmit the messages and guidance I receive, and to carry out the energetic work I am shown. What you do with any of it is yours. You remain fully responsible for the choices you make about your own life and wellbeing, and I would be worried about any practitioner who told you otherwise.
Why I ask you to wait three months before talking about it
This is the request people find most surprising, so it deserves a proper explanation.
The energetic and emotional shifts that happen in a session keep unfolding long after you leave the room. Talking about the experience too soon, particularly with people who were not there, tends to interrupt that. You end up explaining, defending, or converting the experience into a story before it has finished happening to you.
The image I use is a dressing on a wound. Imagine going to the doctor to have an open wound treated and dressed, and then lifting the dressing every few hours to show people what the doctor did. You would not do it. Not because there is anything shameful under there, but because you would let the air in, undo the work, and risk infecting the thing you came to heal.
So: let it settle. Three months is a good rule of thumb. After that, tell whoever you like.
What to expect in the days after
Most people feel lighter, calmer, and more themselves. Some have vivid dreams, emotional waves, mild physical detox symptoms, or sudden clarity about a decision they had been circling for months. All of that is your system integrating the work.
Drink water. Rest if you can. Be gentle with yourself for a few days. Something real just happened.
Before we begin
Every first session starts with a free discovery call of fifteen to twenty minutes. It is where you ask your questions, where I hear what you are carrying, and where we both make sure this is genuinely the right fit. The full shape of a session is here, and you can book the call here.
